We care about what goes into our products—because we know you do too! Every bar of soap we make is handcrafted with natural ingredients that are either locally grown, ethically sourced, or both. We make everything in small batches right here in our Soap Studio.
That said, all of our products are made in the same space using shared equipment. While we do our best to keep things clean and avoid cross-contamination, we can’t guarantee that our workspace is allergen-free. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy to any of the ingredients we use, we recommend erring on the side of caution and not using our products.
Ingredients We Use
Here’s a list of the ingredients you might find in our soaps and skincare products:
- Raw Goat Milk
- Olive Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Tallow
- Sweet Almond Oil
- Jojoba Oil
- Shea Butter
- Cocoa Butter
- Castor Oil
- Canola Oil
- Beeswax
- Natural Fats (such as tallow or lard)
- Essential Oils– For natural scent and skin-loving benefits.
- Fragrance Oils – We only use options that are free from phthalates, parabens, and sulfates.
- Calendula Oil
- Oatmeal
- Kaolin Clay
- Bentonite Clay
- Activated Charcoal
- Lye (Sodium Hydroxide or Potassium Hydroxide) – Yes, real soap needs lye! But don’t worry—we only use food-grade lye from a trusted U.S. company that supplies soapmakers. It’s totally different from the harsh stuff sold at hardware stores for things like drain cleaning.
Note: Not every product contains all of these ingredients. Please refer to the specific product listing for an exact ingredient list.
A Quick Note on Claims
We’re all about transparency and honesty. While we love talking about how nourishing and gentle our products are, we don’t make any medical claims—like “healing,” “curing,” or “antibacterial”—because the FDA doesn’t allow that unless a product is officially classified and tested as a drug. We just stick to making good, honest soap with ingredients your skin will love.
